Chapter #4

The orange menace

Dinner was heavy for everyone and that's why many were still sleeping. Kitsu like the others was immersed in her dreams. There is she and tiny Mei in a green field completely alone. She takes it, lifts it, hugs it, kisses it, plays with it and thousands of other activities that force them to be together. The most important element of the dream is that Mei is happy and smiling, which is a rare sight for her to see while awake. However, with all this happiness, her body moves slightly, and during her dream, it squeezes her claws, managing to close them without meeting any resistance, which is very strange because Mei should be there...

When this thought reaches Kitsu, she suddenly widens her eyes and stands up. She looks down and around, but Mei isn't in the room. She's gone. She stops for a moment and takes a long breath. She remembers Mei's smell and taste, so she can sense that she is still in the gym. Sadness and anger hit her like a train and without thinking twice she rushes out of the room and starts looking at the various corridors. She quickly comes to the intersection of several corridors and turns left, placing her paw violently on the ground, narrowly missing Mei.

Mei is terrified at this scene. She doesn't want to be taken by Kitsu, she doesn't want to be forced to be with her, she wants to escape and run away. But at this moment it is not wise to start running. For now, she is directly below her and the size of a dragonite prevents them from seeing below them. He then decides to remain still, hold his breath and hope that he doesn't notice her.
