A large hedge maze, dotted with colorful flowers

At first, it just seemed to be more of the same green forest that surrounds you just as much as the fog does, but as you got closer, it was clear it was something else altogether.

What greeted you was large archway made of a huge and dense hedge that spread deep and far into the fog. Beyond the hedge opening, you see what looks like a large maze to you, which at this point you feel like you were already in a maze with this fog keeping you here, it seemed to you.

At least this would be a change in scenery, as the hedge seemed to be lined with colorful flowers of all sorts... For a moment, your mind went blank as the sweet smell of the flora whiffed your nose and lured you inside, the entrance closing up as soon as you walked through and broke your trance.

You were about to try and push your way through, but found out that the branches had sharp points to them as soon as you got close, but vanished when you stepped back.

Seems like you are going to be stuck here, it seems, and so you start following the path of the maze, hoping to find a way out of it.
