A huge tree that looks like it was a mile wide

You were floored when you saw it coming into view from the deep fog.

At first, it looked like a sky scrapper, wide and reached so far into the air you could not see the top of it thanks to the fog. But as you got closer, you soon discovered that it was a massive tree, its bark as huge as you were, and its roots as thick as a truck, digging into the earth and keeping the monstrous plant standing firm.

You were awestruck, but then you noticed 2 things on the tree; A flight of stairs that wraps around the trunk and reaching high into the fog above and leading into the top of the tree.

Then you also noticed a strange archway that seemed to be leading down under the ground and under the tree. At first, it seemed like a huge rabbit or fox hole, but on closer inspection, it seemed to have been crafted and shaped like a doorway, as if morphed by human hands.

Not wanting to go back into the foggy forest, you decided that you would try exploring the massive tree, and maybe get an idea on what in the world is going on!
