Alright, here are a few more roles the story can take if you wish to go that route, and perhaps these could be of some interest.

Forced Into a Kaiju: Kinda like a forced Person into Kaiju route. Think of it like this, the student is given a choice to become a kaiju, but chooses not to take it, and starts off as a normal student among the kaijus, but let’s just say the school and its students/staff have ways to make them join their rank. It can even be a slow burn story, but the student will become a kaiju at some point down the road against their will. The Great Kaiju Academy can also be known for being very shady at times, and this causes tons of controversies around the world, especially if a normal kid becomes kaiju against their parents wishes either because of harassment or other stuff. They can be threats, or perhaps the school goes behind the student’s back and mutates them while they are asleep, and then has to live as a kaiju for good. Now some can be a necessary evil for the student’s safety if absolutely necessary, it is a moral grey area.

Normal Staff: Well its the kaiju staff, only it is a normal teacher teaching huge kaijus and or normal students. It will surely be hard to keep all the kaijus in line, but they are given special equipment to help with it if needed.

Journalist: A normal person who has come to the Great Kaiju Academy to document the lives of normal students and kaijus, and gets themselves in all sorts of wacky adventures one way or another. Your call how this can go here.
