Despite never having desired to get involved with the law, considering what he does for fun, he couldn't help but enjoy the way the Umbreon's movements looked. Of course, he couldn't lie and say the swaying of her natural assets weren't a contributing factor to his fascination either. As much as his instincts told him not to do this, since he was taking a chance on getting caught, he couldn't help but feel a desire to have some fun with her...
Though, there was just one issue he'd need to solve. She's an Umbreon. A Dark Type Pokémon. This wouldn't make his possession easy. He'd either have to find a way to get inside her body physically, or transfer into her from another Pokémon, if he could even get close enough to do so...
He slowly floats down and gets closer, now able to hear what she's saying. She seems to be talking into an ear piece. He makes sure to make himself invisible so as to not be seen.
"...Yes, I know that. We didn't find any direct evidence, just street cam footage, and eyewitness reports... No,I'm still going to need more time. For now, just stay at your post, and I'll call in if anything comes up." She says. Sounds like she's talking to either a partner or a subordinate. Either way, he couldn't possess her while she was calling others like that, it'd give away his possession instantly.
He watches as she walks into an alley, and he follows, remaining invisible, especially after hearing her mention 'street cams'. He hears her continue to speak.
"There's just no evidence, but it has to be true. She'd never act like that. There's something going on around here. I'm sure those pesky ghosts are at the bottom of this barrel of mystery." She says. Ghosts? X isn't surprised there are other ghosts in the city, but rather, that one of them seems to have caused some sort of commotion somehow. Enough to get the local police involved anyways. What exactly happened? There was an easy way to find out of course.
Right now, the Umbreon captain was alone in this alley, and with enough effort, X could possibly ambush her and possess her that way.
Alternatively, he could keep listening. Maybe someone else involved in this case would show up, and he'd get a chance to use them to get to her..
