X narrowed his focus onto the Salazzle. Salazzle's were widely renown for their big assets and this one was no different. She had a figure many Pokemon could envy. However, there was something off about her. Something X couldn't quite place but she certainly seemed different from the others he had encountered, and he wasn't just referring to her features. This peculiarity is actually what drew his attention.
X snuck closer, taking care not to be seen. One by one the others left, first the Meowscarada, then the Zoroak. The Lopunny was also about to leave but stopped at the last minute to talk to the Salazzle. X being ever the curious one decided to listen as well.
"You know darling, a lot of Pokemon would be jealous of you." The bunny commented. "I mean you have everything going for you, the looks, the movepool and that body. All that's missing is the confidence." She noted.
"I don't know. I don't think I have what it takes. What if I mess up?" The Salazzle exclaimed. "I don't want to be fired on my first day. I need this job. Nowhere else hires poison types."
"You won't mess up. All you got to do is go and compliment the client. Maybe give him a massage. That's it." Lopunny informed as she rested a hand on her hip. "It's not alchemy."
"Still. Its a Sceptile, those guys are pure grass. What if I accidentally freak out and burn him or poison him?"
"You're over thinking things." Lopunny told her. "Trust me first time is always like this. Once you get through today. You'll see it get easier."
"I don't know."
"Look, let me be frank. If you go out, there is a chance you could mess up and get fired...but if you stay here...then you'll definitely get fired." Lopunny told her. "If you really aren't sure then its fine. Don't go, but remember, its not me or anyone else who needs this job. It's you. Be out in a five." Lopunny repeated before she left.
The Salazzle looked at her with a longing look before turning back to stare at herself in the mirror. "What did I get myself into?" She sighed.
"A timid and shy Salazzle, that's a first." X thought to themselves as they stared at her. Lopunny was right though, she had quite the blessing but not the confidence, Perhaps X could help her out. He was sure there must be some interesting story behind this.
