Ok this was...a lot for Moxxie to process. He knew Soulless were a thing, a fairly rare occurrence since their existence required someone to be desperate enough to summon a demon, but a thing nonetheless, but he had never heard of an Imp having one. Usually it was like, Overlords or other far more powerful demons to have them...and usually as far as he knew they weren't like an inch tall. Could be that Job wasn't really meant to be in hell outside of the deal he supposed but that would mean he had accidentally screwed a fairly decent person over and he...frankly didn't want to think about that.... Well, there was at least one place he supposed he could go for answers... Stolas would know how this works, he could just take Job there and as-
"Hun? You in here?" Job and Moxxie both immediately turned to look to the entrance of the apartment, where the...rather thick southern accented voice had rung out from. Moxxie smiled as he saw his wife, Job did not, have no idea who she was and still being fairly shaken from having just died. "Who are you talkin...to..." Millie blinks. "...Uh, Moxxie, sugar, who's the smallfry?"
She sounded more confused than anything else. Probably because she didn't think they made demons that small. Moxxie cut in before Job could answer. "Oh, uh...remember a few months ago when that kid I told you about summoned me when trying to get Stolas?"
"Yes." Millie's voice sounded...unhappy, with that memory.
"Well, this is him. I guess? Apparently Imps can own somebody's soul." Moxxie held the blue, mouselike demon up to Millie. "Millie, meet Job. Apparently, I own him now...which admittedly is pretty wei-"
"So he's the one who scared me half to death then" Millie's death glare would of given Job a general idea how happy she was with him if her sudden grabbing of him from Moxxie and putting him in a very, very tight grip hadn't. "Do you have ANY idea how worried I was when you pulled that crap you little shit?"
"Millie we've been over this, he wasn't trying to scare you he was just des-"
"He vanished in front of me!" Millie is, at this point, focused pretty firmly on Job as he squirms in her tight grip. "You should just be happy he talked me out of getting payback with the grimoire or you'd of been down here even earlier!"
Job barely manages to squeak out a meek response... "I-I'm...s-sorry, I didn't m-mean-"
"Yeah, yeah, you "didn't mean to", you think that makes that kind of thing any less horrifying?!" Millie is almost blindly angry with Job...and raises him above her head. "I think a little punishment is in order even if it was an accident" And...Millie opens her mouth wide below Job, making it very clear to the mouselike demon that this...seemingly insane demoness was going to drop him into it. Her Maw below him like the entrance to...well if he wasn't already there he'd say the entrance to hell.
"Millie! Come on honey this is a little uncalled for" Moxxie placed a hand on her shoulder and Millie turned to him with a slight grin. "He wasn't trying to scare anybody he was just really desperate. There's...no reason to punish him, especially not...like that."
Millie seems to stop and...consider what Moxxie had just said before responding
