This choice: James finds Nicole in the quad again • Go Back...Chapter #7James finds Nicole in the quad again by: Jenny Amara   “James! What on earth are you doing! Get over here right now!” Nicole yelled out at James who was sitting by the fountain in the quad again. “Hey Nicole!” James said as he walked over to her. James was in much better spirits than before, too good Nicole thought. “You are clearly going through something here James, your hormones are out of control. Did you shave your legs?” Nicole spoke at a muted volume to try and preserve some sense of privacy out in public.
“Yeah! James said as he put each leg out one at a time to show them off. “They look great right? Feel amazing too,” James continued. Nicole looked at James like he had lost his mind. “Look, this is all happening really quickly. That’s not something that I would expect given you just have a bunch of female hormones flowing through you” Nicole expressed her concern.
“This again, I have had the best day so far today, I don’t want to go through this again” James dismisses Nicole.
“Well if what’s happening to you doesn’t worry you at least take this advice. You need to dial back the packaging here. You look like a sex worker out here. You are going to get hurt or possibly killed out here like this when the wrong person eventually comes along.”
James actually resonated with this feedback. He felt too good and was too attached to continuing his new found sexual empowerment to let himself get hurt. “Oh gosh Nicole, I hadn’t thought about that. I don’t want to get hurt. What should we do?” James responded to Nicole with genuine concern. Nicole felt James had turned a corner here that she could leverage to get things back to some form of normality.
“Let’s get you back to my place. We can get you setup there and talk some more.” Nicole answered wanting to get James to a place she could operate from with more ease. “Ok, let’s do it. I’m good to go with you.” James agreed. The pair walked with relative swiftness to Nicole’s apartment. It was fairly close to campus making the walk even quicker. James settled in on Nicole’s living room couch. He felt the fabric tickle his legs and he adjusted his position so he was sitting on top of his lower legs in a very feminine manner. Nicole noticed his posture but decided to let it go.
“So let’s talk. You shaved your legs, why did you do that James?” Nicole asked as she handed James a glass of water. “Oh? That, I just felt like it was going to help draw in some attention. Plus I really like the way they feel now” James answered as he rubbed his free hand along his leg. “Okay, and the clothes. That was for the same reason?” Nicole followed up. “Yeah! They’re cute right?” James answered.
Nicole nodded to appease James here, but his appearance was quite alarming on any level. “Yeah… they’re fun for certain occasions, but you need to know that they do make you a target for sexual assault James.”
“Oh gosh, that’s really scary Nicole I don’t want that at all.” James said back.
“Good, why don’t I bring you out a change and we will talk here about next steps.” Nicole said.
“Sure Nicole, thanks for your help.”
Nicole returned back with a pair of sweat pants and a sweatshirt. “Here, why don’t you throw these on.”
James did as directed and sat back down. “These aren’t too bad, they feel nice on my skin” James said a little surprised. Nicole smiled at the comment and sat down next to James. “So, the elephant in the room is what are we going to do about your sex drive? It is in overdrive and preventing you from getting through your regular activities. Are you ready to talk about this?” Nicole started in on the conversation.
“Well, I guess I just found that I really like and want to have a lot of sex. That’s not too unusual for a college aged person”
“No, it’s not James, but you have taken it to an extreme level here and that’s not normal. I think you need to get some help for this.”
“What kind of help are you talking about?”
“Your hormones are out of control James. I know you don’t want to hear that, but I have been thinking about your situation. I think if you were to take a birth control pill it should help your body regulate the hormones better just like how it works for women.”
“I don’t know Nicole, I really don’t feel like anything is wrong.”
“Please James, I think it will help and I don’t want you to get hurt and I’m worried something will happen if we don’t get this under control for you.”
James sat there considering his options while looking Nicole in the eyes. He saw her deep and Ernest concern directed towards him.
