Ochako decided that going to a real clinic was out of the question. She didn't have any money and wouldn't her parents find out about it if she tried to get any financial assistance? She wasn't ready to let her parents know about her decision yet. They would try to talk her out of it, but she'd already made up her mind to help them however she could.
Ochako stopped on the street corner next to the hero billboard and decided to pursue the only other option she could think of; she would try to find this person with a transformation quirk who would do it for cheap that she'd heard about. She slid her phone out of her bag and began texting the classmate that had told her about the rumor. "Hey Mina I was just wondering if you could tell me what else you knew about that guy doing the cheap bimbo transformations." Sending the text made butterflies form in her stomach. She was nervous about asking a classmate something like this. It would be embarrassing if word got around school. Ochako decided it would be easier to have anyone she knew find out once she had already gotten the transformation done. But Mina was the one she heard the rumor from and if anyone in Ochako's life would know more it would be her. While she was in thought her phone buzzed with a response from Mina.
"😂Lol why so curious all of sudden?" Ochako read the text and her face got warm. This was the exact kind of response she was afraid of. A nervous excuse formed in her mind as she starred down at the laughing emoji next to the words Mina had sent.
"No real reason haha. It just sounded shady so I thought I'd look into it for my hero work study." The excuse sounded flimsy. There was no backing down now though, she'd already asked.
"Oh?😏" The short response was accompanied by a smiley face with a smirk of suspicion on its face. Ochako felt completely exposed but before she could start typing another excuse her phone buzzed again. Mina had sent her a location and then another text saying "I heard you go here and ask for an appointment with 'The Doctor'."
"OK Thanks!" Ochako replied without quickly thinking.
"No prob. I considered checking it out myself but it did seem a little sketch so be careful on your 'investigation' though you should be fine if you're on your work study😏" The inclusion of another smirking face told Ochako she probably hadn't fooled Mina but she tried not to think about it. Looking up from the phone she started to make her way to the location Mina had sent her. Better to get started now at the start of summer break while no one was around the dorm. Doubts and questions entered in and out of her head as she walked. Was this really something she could go through with? How long would it take? She pushed her concerns out of her mind as she walked. The constant back and forth made the time fly by.
Before she realized it, Ochako had arrived at a small path between two buildings. It led to a stairwell and an elevator with a sign that read 'Out of order'. There was a name plate with business names on different floors of the building but most were scratched off or faded. A button sat next to each name and an intercom speaker beside the column of buttons. Ochako's eyes fell on one business's name and button. A piece of paper with a name scrawled in pen and slipped into the name plate read 'Doctor's'. A finger hesitantly moved towards the button. Ochako pushed the button and held it down before saying into the intercom "I'd... like to have an appointment with the Doctor."
At first silence but then suddenly a voice crackled over the intercom. It was a woman. There was a giggle followed by a breathy voice. "Go to the ummmm... 3rd! Yeah the 3rd floor!" There was another giggle before the static ended. Ochako started to have doubts again. The woman on the other end sounded... a little dim just in that brief exchange. Would Ochako really be able to do her hero work like that? She continued to have these thoughts as she walked up the stairs. Other bimbo heroes were managing it after all... She continued up the stairs to the third floor, her doubts unable to stop her as she produced rationalizations.
The door clicked and Ochako pushed it open to reveal what looked like an unclean doctor's waiting room. Chairs and tables sat against the walls covered in peeling chipped paint. There was a door across the room with a window next to it. Ochako couldn't see anything behind the tinted glass of the window aside from what was visible in a small opening. A pair of some of the biggest and fullest lips Ochako had ever seen we poking out from the opening. As the entrance shut behind Ochako the pair of lips behind the glass let out a giggle and said, "The Doctor can see you right away. Head down the hall and umm... oh! Fill out the form in the exam room!" The door to the left of the window opened.
Ochako entered a short hallway. On one side of it was a door that likely led to whatever office the receptionist was in. At the end of the hallway was a door labeled 'Patient Exam and Procedures'. Ochako walked down the hall nervously and entered the room. It looked like a doctors office with an examination table and two chairs against the wall though like the reception it was unclean and shoddy looking. On the table was a form. Ochako picked it up. It listed the various procedures that could be performed to transform a patient. Some of it didn't matter to Ochako like gender modification but aside from those options the form made her head spin. The several options on the form that seemed relevant to her read:
-Hourglass form enhancements (including tummy tightening, bust enhancement and hip/rear expansion)
-Permanent lip filling for huge full lips
-Permanent skin pigmenting for a perfect tan look
-Mind alterations to understand and be comfortable in bimbo fashion
-IQ lowering
Even though she had committed to this idea she wasn't sure what to pick. The motivation was to become a popular hero but even knowing that she wasn't sure what options would help the best. The first question she asked herself is, should she get the hourglass form enhancements?
