Keninja: "So, we'll be following a sumo who's just started wrestling not too long ago, but is still learning more about it, huh? Very well, then. Which sumo wrestler will we be following?"
Komodo (Animal Mechanicals): After coming across a portal to the Animal Sumo League, Komodo of the Mechanical World decides to jump through it only to find himself as a half-organic, half-mechanical Komodo, and to find himself in a world where sumo is the way of life. After looking for a way to get back to the Mechanical World before it's too late, he decides to happily stay in the Multiversal Animal Sumo League as one of the sumos. He might not know all the basics of sumo wrestling, or even everything that's to be expected from the sport, but hey, he's still learning.
Terry the Tepig: Once a small and pathetic Tepig who was constantly looked down upon, he joined the Multiversal Animal Sumo League in the hopes that one day, his peers would finally see him for the confident Pokémon that he truly is on the inside. Although he struggled at first, he eventually got the hang of it, and became a sumo master overnight. Well, 'became a sumo master overnight' might be a bit of an overstatement, as he's still got so much to learn if he wants to impress not just the sumo residents, but all of his peers, too. After all, some of his peers are cheering him on to become a sumo master, so he might as well just keep on practicing if he's to ever become one.
Gerald the Sumo Ant: It's not every day that a sumo who's literally an insect who's as tall as an average mantid can join the Sumo League. And Gerald is no exception. After becoming tired of working the same old boring jobs in the ant colony, he decides to retire from the ant colony and pursue bigger and better things, including sumo wrestling. While he still has lots to learn about sumo wrestling before he can become a sumo master, he's already learned the basics, and is ready to show the other insects who's the true ruler of the league.
Friend Owl (Bambi): Life as a mentor can be pretty exhausting. So, when Friend Owl found out about a certain sumo league accepting animals from many different universes, he immediately jumped on the opportunity to become a sumo wrestler. However, that doesn't mean he was able to learn everything about sumo wrestling over the course of a single day. Just like when he was a mentor, sumo wrestling can be a difficult challenge for him. But as long as he can feel the forest and the sumo oceans, he'll be able to become a sumo master in no time. He'll just have to watch out for those that can try to squish him flat or make him lose his feathers.
