Belinda's stomach roared with hunger all the way home. It was getting dark, and the streets of 0b-City were increasingly lit by neon signs which would blur your vision if you looked up for too long. The rain started to pour next, and Belinda quickened her pace until she reached her apartment complex. She could have stopped for something to eat on the way home, of course, but she really wanted to wind down at home as soon as possible.
Belinda's apartment complex was huge, housing at least 300 people, some of whom worked at Yancy. She took the elevator to the 29th floor, and hurried through the door. Her stomach growled again, and she rushed to her kitchen and yanked open the fridge door.
Unfortunately, she hadn't bothered to pick up groceries this week, and the fridge contained only half a carton of milk, a leftover slice of pizza and a yoghurt. The pizza was cold and unappetising, but she desperately needed something, so she snatched it up and devoured it in three large bites.
"Guess tonight's a takeout night," she muttered, scrolling through her delivery app. Her finger hovered over the usual order, but a strange, impulsive urge made her pick items she’d never usually get: two orders of loaded fries, a double burger, dumplings, and a full pizza for good measure. She told herself it was a little celebration of her new job.

The food arrived quickly, and as soon as she tore into the bags, a strange, primal hunger overtook her. She barely registered the individual bites—one after another, the burgers, the fries, the dumplings all disappearing faster than she could believe. Her hunger was so intense it bordered on desperate, and she didn’t hold back, shoving handfuls of fries into her mouth between large bites of burgers.
Somewhere between the last slice of pizza and the bottom of the fries, her stomach finally started to protest, tight and heavy from the sheer volume she’d packed away. But still, she couldn’t quite stop herself, grabbing a final handful of fries and finishing them off as she leaned back, her stomach achingly full.
"Urrrrrp!" Belinda let out a sudden belch, and blushed, despite nobody being there to hear it. She felt like a pig, but she was finally satisfied, and her stomach had stopped complaining.
Her stomach had bloated out considerably, sticking out from her slender body like a sphere. Before she knew it, she had drifted off, sprawled on the couch, surrounded by empty containers and crumbs. Her mind was hazy, a faint alarm ringing somewhere in the back of her thoughts. But as she slipped into sleep, it all faded, leaving heavy, bloated satisfaction...
