Rouge awoke with a start.
"Urrrgh....my head. I feel like the day after new years....what....the.....oh my god!" She exclaimed.
As she came to, she couldn't believe her eyes. The plane. Her plane, lay strewn as a pile of wreckage in front of her, flames still erupting from the debris.
"How could this have happened?!" She wondered. As she went to inspect the wreckage, she noticed footprints leading away from the site of the crash. It seemed a good number, if not all of the passengers from the plane had managed to walk away from the disaster. But Rouge found herself having been tossed into the jungle overgrowth, hiding her away and out of plain sight.
"I can't believe they'd just leave me here like that! Hmph!" She moaned. "My dream getaway...my luxury vacation....it's gone! All gone! Nothing goes right for me!" She started to whimper.
"Wait. Jungle overgrowth. Oh my god. Where the heck am I?! How am I going to get home!?"
After recognizing the biome she now found herself in, Rouge deduced that the plane must've gone down somewhere in the jungle surrounding the Mystic Ruins zone. "Not far from my desired location, but...not close enough." She sighed.
She gazed up at the sky above and quickly realized the sun was setting. Though her head still felt like a drum, she knew she had to get moving. She prepared her wings to take off and get a better view of her location when.. "ouch! what the heck?" She looked back over her shoulder. Being thrown from the plane clipped one of her wings. She knew she couldn't fly in this condition and would have to walk.
"God dammit could this day GET any worse?!" She said, begrudgingly. Without any other leads or ability to fly, she decided to follow the tracks from the rest of the group.

After hours of walking, night had fallen upon the jungle. Though she was herself a thief and normally felt at home in the darkness, in such an unfamiliar setting, she was starting to get scared. Just then, almost as if right on cue, she heard rustling in the bushes that surrounded her. She knew not to give herself away and make a sound, but fear was starting to take hold. She had to clasp her hands around her mouth to keep from screaming as cold sweat rolled down her face. Just when she thought she couldn't take it anymore....someone jumped out of the brush.
"Kn-knuckles???" Rouge exclaimed. But it wasn't.
What stood before her was a being that looked a lot like Knuckles, but wasn't. It was an Echidna, just like him. But...bigger. Taller. Muscular. If she wasn't so terrified, she admitted...she'd have been a little bit turned on. And then, out popped another. And another. And another still. Until she was completely surrounded by them, spear tips pointing right at her.
"Okay, okay, y-you found me h-heh. If you're going to point something long and hard at me, let's save it for the bedroom, shall we?" Knowing not what else to do, Rouge fell back on the only strategy she had when confronted by men: flirting.
Unfortunately for her, the Echidnas retorted in a language she did not understand, and thrust their spears even closer. Not knowing what else to do, Rouge put up her hands. In an instant, she was bound by rope, and hoisted above the shoulders of two of the largest of the men. "W-woah, what do you think you're doing?! "Easy now, fellas!"
Rouge was carried hurriedly throughout the night, and with nothing else to do, she once again fell back into slumber.
As dawn rose on the new day, Rouge did not see the massive golden city her captors eagerly rushed her towards. Numerous ancient pyramids stretched up into the sky, glimmering gold in the early morning sun. Her Echidna holders rushed her back along a long straight bridge that connected to the largest pyramid of them all, right in the centre of the city. If Rouge had been awake at this time, she might have also noticed something else:
Large, rotund statues in very voluptuous feminine shapes as wide as they were tall with breasts that flowed out in every direction atop their massive stomachs flanked the bridge on either side of them as they drew closer to the pyramid...
