"So, Happy. Could you reminds me why did you came with me in the mission?"
Gray said, not annoyed at the Exceed, but mostly concern If something bad happens to him.
"I follow you because Ezra told me this could be a nice and easy mission for me to practice aye! Besides, that's why you were going alone in first place too."
Happy said with a big smile, Gray sighs and continue with the mission. Happy follows him excited for an mission with Gray.
After a while of searching, exploring, even running away from magic traps, both enter on a cave, with a lot of crystals attached on the walls.
In the center of the cave there was the object the guys were looking for.
"Ah! There is it!"
Gray said, already taking off his shirt, and running towards the object.
"Gray, wait for me!"
Happy said, flying towards the object too.
"Mmm... It kinda looks like a medallion."
Gray said, already touching and even inspecting the medallion, for something else or magic powers or something.
"Gray, look look! It also have two gems attached to it. Let me see it too aye!"
Happy replied, excited to touch a magic artefact by himself, both Gray and Happy end up touching the medallion.
Suddenly! The medallion starts to glow and float, surprising both Gray and Happy,
"Wh-what is going on?!"
Happy screams, scared by this bizarre power, his head started to float!
"Happy!"
Gray yelled, trying to help his friend, but his head also started to float.
Then suddenly, the medallion glow is so intense what Gray and Happy aren't able to see anything. After that, the glow stops and the Medallion stop floating, landing perfectly inside Happy's bag
"Ugh... My head hurts..."
Gray said, massaging his forehead with his new paw.
"Thanks Happy, but I would prefer to do it by myself"
Gray said, not knowing what he now have Happy's body from the neck down.
"Aye... that was painful, my head hurts so much!"
Happy cried, petting his head with his newly human hand.
"Thank you Gray! Aye~, I feel so much better!"
Happy said, also not knowing he have Gray's body from the neck down.
"Huh? I'm not petting you Happy... But you are trying to massage me with your paws."
Gray said confused.
"What you mean Gray? I'm not massaging you aye..."
Happy replied. Then both guys open their eyes, and get surprised.
"WHAT THE F-"
Gray yelled, with his eyes wide open
"HAPPY?!! Give me back my own body!!!"
Gray shouted. Moving his paws up and down.
"I say the same aye! Give me back my body!"
Happy said, with teary eyes, then Happy remembers about the medallion.
"Gray! Why not we use the medallion! It make us swap... so maybe we could use it again?"
"That's... a good idea Happy. Let's do it!"
Then Gray searched inside Happy's bag and was able to find the medallion!
"Let's touch it Happy!"
Gray said motivated. Happy agrees and both touch it and nothing happen… and again... and again... and again.
Nothing happened, the medallion didn't glow nor swapped then back.
"Crap!"
Gray shouted, then he placed the medallion bag on the back.
"Gray... what we do now?"
Happy said, disappointed.
"Well... The only option we have is go back to the guild and maybe Wendy or Lucy help us with this... I can already hear Natsu's laugh. Damn"
Gray said annoyed.
"Sounds good to me aye!"
Happy said, now already trying to touch and explore a bit of his new body. Even doing some of the ice magic.
Gray sigh in annoyance. This is gonna be a long day for him.
