Wiz Kids
Normally, being a wizard is pretty cool. And for the most part, it is. You get to stay in a tower, read books of ancient magics, do your research in peace and quiet for the most part (barring something like a war or a demonic cult summoning their lord or what have you).
Being a parent while studying magic, unfortunately, is a lot harder. Not only do you have to balance your studies with your child, kids have a habit of getting into things. Like a potion you set to brew. Or a spellbook left unattended. Or just generally making mischief.
The Pushback
In the future, diaper companies have realized that the later kids toilet train, the more money they make selling bigger diapers. While currently, kids train somewhere between the ages of 2 and 3, in the year 2075, kids potty train at 5 to 6. Some people realize what's going on, however, and have snuck out of the corporate megacities to go back to the 'classic ways'.
(Basically a humorously diaper-based take on dystopian cyberpunk sci-fi.)
Truly Terrible Twos
On the planet Kyforia, a strange phenomenon occurs. Whenever a Kyforian gets angry, frustrated, annoyed, scared, etc. they can gain body and muscle mass, often increasing in size. The battlefield applications of this are known, and it makes their versions of boxing, wrestling, and many other sports very interesting to watch.
Kyforians have yet to enter the Galactic Alliance, their current cultural and technological era roughly mirrors the mid-80s. Kyforians for the most part resemble feloids from Earth-lions, tigers, panthers, jaguars, etc.
The phenomenon (Scientifically labeled "Spontaneous Musculature", but usually just called "Beast Mode" coloquially) is controllable at roughly the time that Kyforians enter their version of puberty, and learning to control it is another part of growing up. Before that point, however, they have no control.
You can see where this is going. The toddler years of a Kyforian are much, much harder for parents than they are for other species. Let's see how some parents handle these years.
