tonight was no different. a new asset was being brought in ans he had the whole shift on high alert but after a few hours and dozens of nameless "Mr. Smiths" in and out a new asset was in place in isolation lab 3.
after things quieted down john always liked to do his "post delivery sweep" which was code for "finding an excuse to snoop around and get a peak at whatever new thing it was this week.
as he walked into Isolation lab 3 he took a look to make sure no-one was around before heading over to the isolation chamber but to his disappointment rather than a cool glowing rock, or a piece of something that looked like a computer chip tbat moved all he could see though the plexiglass walls was another holding tank entirely blacked out.
