After working under Adrian for nearly a year John was sick of the man. Student debt and the paycheck kept him from quitting. John had been assigned as Adrian's secretary by HR after a bout of lawsuits from former secretaries who seemed to lose their clothes in Adrian's office at the promise of a promotion. As john approached Adrian's door the door one of the secretaries from accounting walked out, fixing her hair and dress, blouse buttons buttoned cockeyed.
Pushing open the door he was greeted with a loud "Joe! where have you been. I texted you 20 minutes ago!" and something snapped. somewhere in his head Adrian had decided that John's name was joe... and that someone labeled Joe in his phone reached John...
with a growing veiled hatred john got out "sir I have informed you before that my number is listed under john in your phone"
Adrian balked with a laugh "of course not... i have you in here as joe! now did you bring the reports for me?"
