You're no trainer. You don't carry Poké Balls and have no desire to shove any monster into any of your pockets. You only wanted to go for a little journey out in the natural world, to be free from the city you've spent every other day of your life trapped within. Honking cars, shouting drivers, heavy clouds of pollution, blaring music... None of that lies in these woods. Just the sound of rain pattering softly onto the tent over your head can be heard. Free showers from the sky, dodging the leafy branches of many, many trees to give two camping companions a soothing lullaby.
Only one other creature lies in this tent next to you, one blue furred, two-legged canine. Luca lies curled up at the foot of your sleeping bag, the soft, adorable little sighs coming from below her closed eyes tell you she is deeply asleep. This one lovely Lucario is the only companion you need in your life. Not held captive by any colored ball, Luca is here because she wanted to be with you, she's your very best friend. Faithful to a fault, this spiky chested canine would never let you travel the world alone, and you would never leave without her. You'd go so far as to say that she's the one creature in this world who truly understands you. Normally, you'd scratch behind her ears right about now just to hear that cute hum of hers and see the pure smile she can only manage in her sleep, but you can't reach those pointed tips atop her head. You can't even reach above her paw, resting opposite the spiked mount on her chest.
