The girls came out of the basement, and Rebecca called, "Mom! Heather’s done it again!”
“Hey!” Heather complained.
However, no reply came, “Mom?”
Suddenly, Heather’s phone chimed, “It’s a text from mom,” The college student noted. “Sorry you girls missed breakfast,” Heather read, "Delilah’s at daycare, and I’ll pick her up late. Enjoy your day.”
“Should we call her?” Rebecca asked.
“No,” Heather replied, “She’ll be angrier if she has to come home from work. We’ll tell her tonight.”
“Great,” Rebecca complained, “I told you we shouldn’t have stayed in the basement so long!”
“Sorry,” Heather apologized, “I guess we need to find something to do today.”
“If you suggest we break out our Barbie,” Rebecca warned.
“I wasn’t,” Heather defended. “But, isn’t Laura working at a day camp?”
“Yeah,” Rebecca acknowledged, “So?”
Heather smiled, “So, let's call her to pick us up and be campers!”
“You want to spend all day with a bunch of kids?” Rebecca demanded.
“Well,” Heather defended, “It beats mopping around here all day.” The college student could see her sister wasn’t sold, “Come on; I’ll even pay for our spots.”
What does Rebecca decide?
