This chocolate piece was too dirty to eat. No telling how long that carpet had been cleaned out or even if anyone bothered to try, there were probably germs of all sorts. “Nice going, Tyson.”
“Hey, chill. There’s like several more left over for you.”
Rolling his eyes with a groan, Marco set the chocolate on the table and reached for another snack. Tyson was right after all, but he really didn’t want to be disturbed when eating sweets like these.
Thankfully for Derek, he was on higher ground and didn’t have to worry about his predicament too much with Marco discarded him so easily. But right now he had to get himself unstuck if his chances of survival were to go up than before, even if seeing the many snacks around him felt quite uncomfortable. They were way too big to climb over and it’d be easy to be scooped up by accident by these massive kids.
Though the shock was over, it was still horrifying to be forced to look up at Marco whose movements were too big to comprehend. Up close he looked much more threatening and powerful than he could’ve imagined. Normally Derek was just a bit taller than him, but it’d take a fist and he’d be flattened without a second thought. That kind of thought motivated him to peel himself off faster.
Luckily he did.
Trying to ignore the pieces left on his back and arm, Derek had to figure out what to do next. It might not be safe here and he was hesitant to head back to the floor. Just anything would do that didn’t get him in deep trouble. But what would end up happening to him?
