"Huh? Whoa!" the girl quietly gasped. She jumped slightly in her seat and nearly knocked Jack off of her finger as she did so. He managed to hang on, though, and waited for the girl to calm down. When she recollected herself, she slowly brought her mucus-covered finger closer to her face, no longer paying attention to the class. "Ew, what is that?" she whispered. Jack tried to get onto his knees and motion to the sick student that he was a person, albeit of tiny stature, but she didn't understand. "It's moving? Oh my god, it's a bug, gross!"
"No, no! I'm a person, not a bug! Please help!" Jack begged. The black-haired girl snorted some snot back into her nose and grabbed a tissue out of her backpack. "How the hell did it even get on my finger..." the giant student quietly asked herself. Perhaps her sickness made things worse for Jack and either made her slightly hallucinate or downright not believe what she was seeing. Either way, it appeared that he had no chance of getting off of the girl's hand safely. He yelled one last time as the girl brought down her tissue on Jack, squeezing him (and the glob of snot that covered him), then rolling the tissue up into a ball and carelessly tossing it to her side, hoping to make it in the nearby trash can. Jack's world suddenly was spinning all around him as he was flying through the air, the uncomfortable position he was in being balled up in the tissue making everything worse. Eventually, his ride came to an end, though in a unique fashion.
*THUD*
*BOUNCE*
Jack's tissue hit the side of the trash can and took an awkward bounce, sending him not into the can but into a separate student's open backpack. When his intense ordeal was over, Jack sprawled out his body in a big stretch, slightly undoing the tissue. He had yet to discover where it was he had ended up, with the tissue still obstructing his view of the outside world. Jack presumed it was the garbage can and remained still for a little while longer to recuperate from the unexpected flight. When he was finally ready, Jack stood up and peeled back the tissue to surprisingly learn he was in no trash can, but a different type of enclosure. He looked up at the light shining in from a hole above him and saw the side of a student who he couldn't entirely make out. That's when Jack figured he had to have been in their backpack. Groaning, Jack thought he had yet another adventure in front of him, and he wouldn't know just how right he would be. In the meantime, Jack pursued an escape and tried climbing the wall of the backpack.
"Oh, that's right," a booming voice came from above. Startled, Jack paused his expedition upwards and looked at the opening of the backpack. A giant white hand had entered the environment and incidentally grazed him off of the backpack wall. Considering he hadn't made it that far up to that point, the fall wasn't all that bad and Jack landed with a soft thud on the floor. Just a moment later, the hand retreated from the backpack with some item that Jack couldn't make out. He ignored whatever it was that they grabbed and tried looking at who the person was. Just before they ended up closing their backpack, Jack discerned the head of a very attractive girl. From the brief look he got, the girl had long, flowing brown hair and dark brown eyes. Unfortunately, he didn't get a long enough look to get any more than that. The backpack was now shut and Jack was trapped.
Jack lost track of time, but could only have assumed an hour to have passed when he heard muffled shuffling outside of the backpack and saw the bag opening and the item that was pulled up before being dropped in. He ignored it and tried to get the student's attention, but she quickly re-shut the bag. Jack grumbled and marched around the enclosure before falling off balance as the backpack was picked up. It was clear that the class was over and the girl was heading to another undisclosed location. Jack grew concerned. He had no choice but to tag along with the student to wherever it was she was going.
Where was the girl heading and what happened to Jack?
