Summary: Since the first time Rebecca saw The little Mermaid, she has been bewitched by the thought of having a fishtail. Many times she had fashioned a costume that she could swim around in her family pool in pretending to be a mermaid, seeking out better and better materials to make her costume. The most recent one was made with beautiful blue scales she found in an antiques shop. Unbeknownst to Rebecca, the scales are magic, and as she swims in her pool, the costume becomes real, taking her legs and leaving a fishtail in their place.

Will being a real mermaid prove Rebecca's dream come true, or will the loss of her legs prove to be her nightmare?
