She looks at you for a moment as you are confused and unsure of what to do. Karen though has already thought of something as she say "Listen your manager of this company and I know this is a lot to take in. But accidents like these are bound to happen. I'm going to send out a memo to all employees in the company informing them of your current situation. And as for you, I will believe the best decision is for you to remain with me for the rest of the day.".
As you were listening to her talk, you have been taking your current situation in. You can't believe that you are now an inch tall and have to hope that these lab assistants can figure something out. It is then you tune back into the conversation with Karen as you hear her last sentence of you will be spending the rest of the day with her. It is then your mood changes as an idea crosses your mind. Maybe this shrinking thing has a sort of bright side as now you get to spend the day with Karen and maybe convince her that you deserve that new promotion.
Karen then begins walking towards the stairs to up to her office as she holds you in her grasp. As she enters her office in matter of seconds she just places you on her desk as she quickly gets to work and you watch as she types on her computer keyboard.
She then begins to speak to you as you stand on her desk
