And with a few minutes of chatting Karen takes her leave as she walks out of the lab and the intern finally lifts you up with ease to take a look at you in her palm. As she opens her hand you are greeted with the sight of the young woman.
The first thing you see is her long blonde hair as your eyes adjust back to the light. You begin to see her facial features and notice that she looks to be a bit younger then you, Also skinny with some freckles.
As soon as she looks at you her face lights up as she says "Awwwee... Oh my gosh! Your actually a man. A real life person who is about an inch tall. I thought Karen was just joking around with me when she handed you to me.".
You are a bit confused at first by what she exactly means by that, but then you realize that she is talking about the fact that you are a normal human that is an inch tall. Though it doesn't seem to bother her as she carries on to ask you some questions.
"So are you really a manager? You only look a bit older then me." She asks as she holds you in her palm.
Even though your about the size of a tiny ant to her, the statement made you feel a bit cocky as you reply with "Oh yes, you see..."
You get immediately cut off after you say yes as she excitedly jumps into saying "Oh okay well you don't have to worry Mr. tiny manager guy, cause I'll take good care of you for the day." She says this part in a belittling voice as if she were talking to a cute puppy. Then she begins to talk normal as she says "Oh and Btw I guess I forgot to introduce myself, I am Hailey."
You weren't a big fan of how Hailey was talking to you, but looking up at her face as she looks down at you with a smile you really couldn't muster a way to protest her as you reply with "I'm fine Hailey. And thanks for looking after me today."
Hailey's smile brightens as she reply "Of course." She then goes to say something else, but before she can a different manager Derek whom was called down to replace you for the day. He calls out to her from the other end of the lab. To which upon hearing Hailey responds to him with "Oh Derek hey, just give me one second..." She then looks down at you in her hand and says "We talk later, I have to see what Derek wants. But you will be safe in my pocket.".
You make an attempt to protest and try to tell Hailey that she is there to help you. And she could easily inform Derek of this. But sadly Hailey doesn't really let you say anything as you don't have much choice as she just smiles while shoving you into her jean pocket.
Hailey then begins to walk over to Derek to see what he needs as you are forcibly left sitting inside her pocket until she retrieves you out. Though unknown to you, Hailey is a bit of a scatter brain and once Derek tells her a list of task that he wants her to complete she forgets that you are inside her pocket.
