Austin blinked in surprise as the fan suddenly jabbed a needle into his shoulder. A strange sensation spread from the point of contact, radiating through his body. Moments later, the transformation began.
Starting from his feet, Austin felt his boots straining as his feet grew larger and wider. His massive feet burst through his boots, causing a wave of gasps from the crowd. His legs were next, swelling in size, muscles rippling beneath his jeans. The denim fabric ripped open, unable to contain the sudden growth.
The transformation quickly moved up through his torso. His shirt strained against the rapid expansion of his chest and shoulders. His muscles bulged, and he watched in horror as his arms lengthened and thickened, veins standing out beneath his skin. His fingers grew longer and wider, his grip on the microphone tightening. The crowd watched in stunned silence as Austin's body continued to grow, his clothes ripping further apart.
His neck thickened next, his voice turning into a deep rumble when he tried to speak. His face began to change, his features becoming more pronounced, but his hair and eyes remained the same. The transformation didn't stop, his height increasing rapidly. He soon towered over everyone, his clothes falling in tatters around his feet, leaving him exposed to the terrified crowd.
The screams and gasps from the crowd echoed in his ears, their excitement replaced with terror. Austin, feeling equally terrified, gazed down at the crowd. He was enormous. A giant. He felt a sense of dread settle in his chest. What had happened to him? Why was he a giant?
From the crowd, he spotted his friends Ally, Trish and Dez. Their faces mirrored the terror he felt. "Austin!" Ally cried out, trying to push through the panicked crowd. Dez and Trish followed, their eyes wide with fear.
"Austin, what happened?" Trish yelled, looking up at him in disbelief.
"I don't know," Austin managed to say, his voice echoing throughout the venue. He felt a wave of panic wash over him. What was happening? Why was he a giant? One thing was certain, he needed help, and his friends were the only ones who could provide it.
