This choice: She doesn't hear you and walks away • Go Back...Chapter #4She doesn't hear you and walks away by: Unknown With a soft hum, the long legs of Lucy started to stride away, her steps seeming like miles to you. You yell again, desperately trying to get her attention, yelling and running at her.
Sadly though, your tiny size and her long legs made it impossible for you to ever catch up. After a few seconds of running at top speed, you were forced to stop and catch your breath. Not that it mattered...Lucy outpaced you easily, and disappeared as she rounded a corner.
You groaned in frustration in between breaths, as you put your hands on your knees exhausted. Lucy had completely dissapeared...and seemingly, your only hope of salvation as well. "This...this isn't good..." you panted. "This is...this is possibly the worst thing that could have happened."
The possibilities were endless honestly. You were shrunk, stranded in the middle of school, with no one knowing what had happened to you. You could be stepped on and crushed like a bug, encounter a bug and be eaten by one, starve to death, dehydrate, or HELL! SHRINKING IS WEIRD ENOUGH, YOU MIGHT AS WELL EXPLODE!!!!
You finally caught your breath after a few minutes. You were trying your best to hold in your frustration, and only having limited success. You wanted to just sit down and cry, but you also knew that you needed to act and act fast. The previous forms of dying withstanding, there was always the chance of being discovered by some...unsavory Characters...
The first up was Lorelei. Lorelei was the swim team coach as well as one of the ice and marine pokemon biology studies teachers. She hated you, for some reason, and made sure you knew it. Scolding you for perceived bad behavior, giving you extra homework (which you didn't have to do thanks to Cynthia saying it wasn't fair), and outright telling you you didn't belong here. Chances are if she found you, she would be happy to get rid of you...probably drown you or freeze you in ice to cool her drinks. That last part made you shudder.
The next was a student named Zinnia. Zinnia was...well okay she didn't hate you or anything like that. She was just weird. She always had cryptic words for you, seemed to follow you to random places, and at one point straight up asked you if you wanted to kiss. She probably wouldn't kill you (on purpose,) but you'd still rather not have the nut job find you like this.
And finally...Oleanna. oh Arceus Oleanna. Oleannas hatred and disdain for you outshines Loreleis by a large margin. Compared to Oleanna, Lorelei might as well be your best friend. Oleanna was the biggest vocal objector of your continued presence at the school. You're sure she's the one who spread rumors of you being a perv around the school, and on top of that she tried constantly to give you detention, which only worked half off the time thanks to Dianthas interference. Oleanna was also weird too. You once caught her taking food from a trash bin and eating it...you heard a rumor from your friend Flannery that she used to be homeless, but it was still weird.
You're afraid of her the most without question. Zinnia would be weird, there's a good chance Lorelei wouldn't kill you and even bring you to Cynthia, but you have zero doubt Oleanna would just straight up murder you. And you have a gut feeling you would end up in her gut...
Youre jolted from your thoughts as you start to hear booming again. Footsteps! Someone was coming!!
You sprang up, ready to try and get the person's attention. Help was on the way!!!...you hoped...
And soon enough, round the corner came... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
