"Yeah sure, sounds fun" you say with a shrug. Hilda smiles as you two started to walk. "I'll be honest, I figured you'd say no. Especially since I like to just your chops" she says with a smirk. You just rolled your eyes. "Oh please, you call that busting my chops? I can match you snark for snark" you say with a smirk of your own, causing her to laugh. "Maybe... I may have to up the ante then. Maybe point Rosa to that cute guy at the cafe we all like and say he likes her." You just roll your eyes again. You know Hilda would never do that, and you know Rosa doesn't care for that Barry guy. Dude is weird.
You and Hilda made your way to one of the outside tables in the campus common grounds. It was a nice day out, not to hot, and a few other students relaxing in the grounds as well. As you both say down, Hilda stretched. "So... Why are you so head over heels for Rosa anyway?" She asked. You shrugged. "Well... I just am" you said, not really wanting to get into it with Hilda. But she pushed a bit more. "Oh come on, (no name), your crush is obvious, and you act like she's the only girl in the world. Besides, still not sure if you're right for her... Maybe if you tell me I'll put in a good word" she says, smiling like a cat. You just snorted. "Fine... But. I want something in exchange then" you said crossing your arms over the table. Hilda raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Getting all serious here huh?" She asked playfully. You chuckled. " Yeah... If I pour my heart out to you, then you have to tell me why you aren't sure I'm a good fit." You said, genuinely curious. Hilda isn't a bad person or a bad friend, but it did kind of hurt to think she didn't want you to date Rosa. Hilda thought for a second. "Hmmm... Ok. Opinion might change depending on what you say... Same time, don't get all butt hurt if I'm honest" she says shrugging. You smiled. "What, gonna call the Wambulance?" You joked, making her laugh.
