You dart your eyes between the witch and your friend, trying to make the best decision.
"Let's leave it with Vivienne" you tell Hope. "You'll already be lugging me around, I feel like wrangling my body as well may be a bit much. Besides, she's familiar with magic, probably better able to handle anything unexpected with it"
Hope nods her head understandingly.
"Perfect, it'll be nice to have some company around here, not to mention some help" Vivienne smiles, as she walks over and puts her arm around your body. "If you need me, you know where to find me. If you don't mind, I'll start putting the old body of yours to work".
You try to nod but realize you can't as just a head with Hope's hands on either side. She giggles seeing you try. "Thanks, we'll be back in three days" You tell her.
Hope then exits the cabin with you in tow. Interestingly enough, your own body sees you two out, closing the door behind you.
"So, we'll be back right, that witch didn't just steal my body?" You ask while being carried under Hope's arm. She giggled, "Sorry, I conspired with a witch to get me to steal your head, you're going to be all mine now". Hope was never able to hid a joke well.
"Yeah, yeah, very funny" you say calling her out. Though you wondered how much she was actually enjoying this, she was pretty quick to try to claim your body and didn't seem to mind your current state.
"Honestly, I think Vivienne was just as surprised as us when your body started moving on its own" Hope explains, "I wouldn't be too worried. Though, does this now mean there are two of you?"
"I don't know, maybe? I mean, not for long at least, I'll have it back under my neck in three days" you say, confident this can be reversed.
You and Hope keep talking as she carries you back to her place. Bringing you in, she does just as she said. Hope is very kind and patient to help take care of you as a head. She makes dinner for the evening, with you sitting on her kitchen table she feeds you while taking bites herself. You joke about how maybe being a head isn't so bad afterall if you can just eat without concern for a body. After that you both relax for the evening, watching shows together and having fun. She sets you on her nightstand for bed time as you both fall asleep.
Waking up the next day she goes about the same routine with breakfast. Luckily being a weekend she didn't have anywhere to be. She stayed with you, relaxing on the couch. When needing to get some work done, she sets you on her desk next to her computer. The surface of her desk feels rather nice against the bottom of your neck. She even takes you on a walk through the local park, you both chuckle at the various people you cross on the trail with their jaws hanging open at the sight of you without a body. The evening goes about the same into Monday morning.
Hope expresses she'd love to take your head with her to work, but is worried you may freak people out. So she sets you up infront of her TV (which luckily has voice controls) before bidding you farewell for the work day. You enjoy flipping through channels, though without Hope to keep you company you find yourself wondering about your body more and more. Most of you, your whole body sans head, was completely independent doing who knows what helping that witch. You wonder if your body shared your personality or was different, part of you was excited to maybe meet it before going back on.
The days carry on happily, you and Hope enjoying your time together as she cares for you.
After the third day, Hope gets back from work, "Who's ready to get a body?" she asks trying to get some excitement from you.
"I don't know" you say, "You keep pampering me like this and I may have to stay like it"
"Oh that's just to get you hooked, I keep you any longer and you're going on the shelf" she smiles as she picks you up. She sets her bag down for work and carries you back to the forest you first met the witch in. Its a nice quiet walk as you both share occasional sentiments about what it will be like you being whole again and how both of you have been at least partly enjoying this.
You finally arrive at the witch's cabin.
Hope goes to knock before stopping, "Ah, what the hell" she says, "I hardly imagine we'd be barging in on anything weirder than we've seen". Hope then opens the door with the hand she's not using to hold you. You both drop your jaws at the sight of...
