Chapter #2

Technological in Origin

    by: Hellexia Author IconMail Icon
The event is technological in origin. Some ideas are:

Someone finds a universal remote, one that can bend reality with the press of a button. Some features the remote might have is mind control, body modification, and body swapping to name a few.

A new invention is built, labeled the "Remote Body Controller" in haste by its creator, an invention that allows the user to remotely control someone else, with the controlled being aware, unaware, or thinking the actions were their own. Some other features could be limiters and enhancers of the feelings, blocking out things like pain and enhancing pleasure for the user, the victim stuck with the actual feelings.

A technological item is found or invented. Appearing as a briefcase normally, it can expand to its full size, being close to a phone booth or a hot tub in size and appearance by default. Entering it, the user can modify their body freely and can reprogram it to modify other entrants' bodies and minds. This is similar to the concept of the Morphic Adaptation Unit, or the MAU for short.

A personality copier is built and can be used to copy someone's memories and personality to be placed in another body. The machine can either be a massive desk-sized object that remains stationary or something smaller like an orb that enters the first person to touch it, being able to change to others through touch.

Or something else?

You have the following choices:
