Luz Noceda was tired. After a day of hanging out with her friends, trying to make new spell glyphs which hadn't been too successful and trying to survive the familiar yet still dangerous Boiling Isles, she needed some time to rest. Passing through the door to the Owl House with a small 'hello' to a sleeping Hooty, she rubbed her eyes and yawned. Nobody seemed to be home to hear her, that was a bit weird.
Thinking nothing of it, she dropped to the red couch and leaned back with a smile. It was pretty comfortable alright with the cushions soft enough that they could be mistaken for a mattress. She didn't have the energy to make it upstairs to her room to rest so this was the perfect substitute.
"A quick nap's gonna fix you up, Luz." She told herself as she fished out something out of her pocket, "Maybe you'll figure out way better glyphs compared to this one." Holding out a piece of paper, she examined the glyph she drew up. It looked very odd to say the least, it was a fuse of several glyphs overlying each other but it didn't seem to work as well as any combination like the invisibility glyph. She tapped the paper several times though nothing happened. "Thought so."
She folded the paper again and placed it in her pocket. Without another word, she closed her eyes and let her body fall sideways on the couch cushions. It took about a few seconds but the effect was the same, she fell asleep and didn't wake for a good while. But as she slept, she didn't know of the paper in her pocket glowing and glowing. She shifted around in her sleep though felt a little cold, but she likely thought it was because she didn't have a blanket. Eventually she seemed to have ignored any signs of such feelings and slept through it all.
After some time had passed, she started to wake up. "There we go, that was a good nap." She stretched and opened her eyes to the room around her, "Now let's...huh?"
The first thing Luz noticed was that the couch had suddenly gotten much bigger than before. The cushions were stretched out like some kind of field she'd see over hills. The gaps weren't visible from her spot but she knew they had to be somewhere. Then she spotted the table which was far away from her, and that wasn't even mentioning the whole room.
"Oh no, OH NO!" Luz stood up on her feet, "Did I get shrunk!? How!?" This was the only conclusion she came to, and she knew darn well this couldn't be a dream. She didn't touch anything dangerous outside today, but she did recall having trouble with... Instinctively, she pulled out the glyph from her pocket. It was crumbled alright, though there was a small purple spark that she caught just in time. "Oh crap..."
So it did work, the glyph must've been a shrinking spell. Unfortunately, Luz didn't see a way to reverse this with her hands too small to wield a pencil, she'd probably just get rolled over by one if she tried. "Okay, calm down Luz. This isn't so bad, I mean this happened to you once before and it turned out okay...all you got to do is find someone and they'll help you." The question was how was she gonna do that?
Looking at the couch she was on, she was too small to even make a good leap towards the table and climbing down didn't seem like such a good idea if she valued her legs and her life, which she did. She backed away from the edge and tried to breathe in and out. She might be too tiny, but she still had some hope that she'll get some help. Then a tall shadow suddenly covered her up. She looked up and seemed to brighten up as she noticed the giant before her. "Yes, there we go! Hey, I'm over here!" Luz shouted to the giant known as...
