Mr. Kintobotnik flew the SCAS towards Jessie's mouth. As we approach it, the exhales she takes through her mouth can be heard through the air vents of the SCAS. Once we got inside her mouth, her breathing became louder and more noticeable. The smell of breath mints enters the air vents, invading our noses. It also got darker, so Mr. Kintobotnik turned on the headlights.
"Welcome, class,” said Mr. Kintobotnik, “to the mouth!"
Half of the class observed Jessie's mouth in awe, while the other half observed in disgust. I was already in awe when we were heading there.
While we observed her mouth, saliva began to build up.
“What's happening?” Hubert worriedly asked, “Is she gonna eat us?"
”Actually,” answered Mr. Kintobotnik,”'she's producing saliva to swallow us easier. The ship is too small for her to chew us up with her teeth, so her saliva will wash us down her throat."
“Why would she do this to us?!?!' Hubert asked again, all panicky.
"That's just her body defending her from harmful intruders,” answered Mr. Kintobotnik. “Apparently, we are detected as intruders."
