“Well, this is certainly an interesting offer,” Rocket muttered as he looked at the screen. He had received a ping almost immediately when he put out the details of Spider-Man, though he never expected them to come from a place like this. “Jeez, that’s even way more than we originally asked for!”
“What have you found out, Rocket?” Quill asked as he entered the room and walked over to the computer. Then he saw the screen. “Holy shit! That’s a lot of money.”
“It makes sense, the offer comes from Asgard,” Rocket reasoned. “Do you want to check it out?”
“Yeah, I doubt we’ll be getting a better offer any time soon,” Star-Lord states. “Time to see what this Asgardian has to offer.”
It took quite a bit of time for them to reach their destination, though Peter had no idea where they were going. The giant Guardians didn’t bother answering his questions when they gave him some food and water. When the group approached him as a whole, Peter knew they had arrived. The teenage boy tried to steel his resolve, but he found it lacking in his current situation. He really had no hope of getting home, of seeing his friends again. All because the Guardians mistook him for someone else.
As his jar prison is brought out of the alien ship, Peter is shocked at the sight ahead of him. It was a massive, glowing city of gold that existed on its own island in the cosmos. He had never been here personally, but he had Thor tell tales of this place constantly.
This was Asgard, home to the Norse gods.
Maybe he had a chance after all!
“Hail, Guardians,” a voice call to the group of ex-cons as they walk down the rainbow bridge. It’s their mysterious buyer, but who is the Asgardian who purchased Peter?

Loki: The mischievous god had heard that one of Thor’s friends had run into trouble and immediately sought to claim the boy for himself. One of the main reasons for doing so is having something to hold over his brother, allowing him a modicum of control with his new hostage. The other reason is largely to have a new plaything for his amusement. Peter would be the perfect toy for any situation, such as giving the giant massages whenever requested, being his magical guinea pig for magic practice, and could even assist Loki in spying on the others and pulling pranks. It would be glorious, though maybe not for Peter.
Lady Sif: After hearing the constant tales of Earth’s mightiest heroes, Lady Sif knew she had to meet them, though she didn’t expect to find a deal for one online. He’s a bit smaller than expected, but this Spider-Man was supposed to be a great warrior, so maybe he could teach her a thing or two about Earth culture. Of course, she had other ways she thought of using him, primarily by slipping him under her armor to relieve stress. She had to train constantly, after all, so it made sense to have a smaller hero help her out with that issue.
Baldur: The Brother of Thor had learned of this shrunken man during his travels and sought to have him. Sure, the boy was a bit young and very small, but that would suit him just fine. He needed a companion as he went about his duties, and one of the smaller sizes was perfect. Plus, if what he heard from his brother is true, then this particular Midgardian was quite durable. It could allow him to experiment with the boy quite a bit. Though, he needed to be extra careful to make sure Thor didn’t find out about his new pet. He doubted the God of Thunder enjoyed his friends being kept against their will.
Tyr: The one-armed Asgardian was intrigued by this tiny Midgardian and sought him out, finding the boy to be an interesting curiosity. He could keep the boy with him on campaigns as a source of entertainment for himself, testing what Spider-Man could do. Of course, the possibility of war was never a certainty, so he could probably find a better use for Peter besides his own pleasure, He could offer Peter as a prize among the guard, whoever showed the best skill will get a session to do as they saw fit with the boy.
