This choice: A familiar skinny thug, with two henchmen behind him • Go Back... Turning around, Subaru was met with a skinny man with a pale complexion and greyish hair with pink tips, the locks were long enough to cover one of his eyes, just adding to his unsettling appearance, and just to remove any doubt of his sinister intentions the thug smirked, letting out his long tongue and licking his lips as he unsheathed two daggers before he spoke, "Hey girlie, you lost?"
"..." Subaru didn't respond, instead he focused on this guy's face, where had he seen him before? Suddenly it finally clicked, this was the same guy that had tried to mug him! And now the same guy was to do it again! Could things get any worse?
"No!" he shouted as he glared at the thug, not wanting to waste more time on this guy Subaru decided to walk away, who cares if that guy had daggers? He didn't have time for some irrelevant thug, he had no time to spare, he needed to find comfortable clothes and go rescue Satella from her imminent death!
But as he beggan to walk away from the skinny thug, two figures blocked his path, one large and build like an ox, and the other small as a rat, and even sounded like one, something like became apparent when he talked, "Going somewhere, missy?"
"Oh yeah, he had friends" Subaru thought as cursed himself for forgetting such a crucial detail, looking back he noticed the skinny one, brandishing his daggers, was walking towards him, how could he fall for such a lousy ambush?
Knowing his current body was no match for three guys, not that his own body was a match but that was irrelevant at the moment, he started walking backwards but stopped himself when he remembered the third member of the trio, no having where to run Subaru just leaned on the guardrails and looked down, the river didn't seemed that deep, maybe he could jump and swim away? The dress would probably make things harder but at least he won't die...again, but how much time would he lose swimming away? Would he reach Satella after swimming to wherever this river ended? And what about the dress, he would end up soaking wet, without a towel nor spare clothes, what if he catched a cold!? Well actually it wasn't cold so that might not be a legitimate possibility but a lady in soaked dress would certainly attract some undesired attention, even more so than before, so what should he do?
The decision was taken out of his hand when he felt the thug's touch in his back, turning around Subaru suddenly felt a sense of déjà vu as he saw the thugs had positioned themselves in sucha a way he could run away, blocking his left, right and center, the skinny thug, who was standing right in front of him, whipped out his tongue as be flickered his daggers, "Won't recommend that dolllface, unless ya wanna break a leg"
Subaru rolled his eyes in response, "Really, dolllface? That's the best you have?" he let out a sigh, just to add insult to injury he was about to be robbed by the most idiotic thugs in the whole world! He took a hand to his temple as he let out another sigh, "Just make this quick, okay? I...think I have no money, so just take the jewels and go away!"
"Hehehe now that's why we like, don't we boys?" the grey haired thug looked at his minions who just nodded in agreement, each one of them smirked as they eyed Subaru's jewelry, as gleeful as wolf that was about to eat his prey, this only angered Subaru even more, he had no attachment to the jewels buy seeing these thugs, who prayed on the weak, being happy just made him miserable, the fact that they were morons was just salt on the wound.

SPLASH
"Uhh..." was the only sound that Subaru could emit after he saw the trio of thieves disappearing in front of his eyes, this mysterious disappearance was easily solved with a look down, where he could see a part of the bridge had collapsed, the chunk of wood were the lowlifes had stood had gave in, leaving just a small bit of wood on the lowered part of the guardrails.
Not wanting to end up like them, Subaru stick to the guardrails like his life depended on it, and slowly he walked sideways to a more secure part of the bridge.
One safe from any unfortunate fall, the boy turned around to get a better look of the whole on the bridge, just big enough for three people to fall down, three people he spotted below the bridge, or rather he spotted the of their feet and calves sticking out of the water.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Subaru couldn't help himself, this situation was just too much for him, be hold his sides as he continued laughing at their misfortune, not believing how the tables had turned! Finally, the goddess of this world was smiling on him!
"Oh man, I wish I could have seen their faces!" he chuckled as he wiped away a tear, he took a deep breath and thought about the situation, he had been really lucky but that didn't mean his mission was done, he still had to find Satella.
He was about to turn away and resume his search for her (and comfortable clothes), but one look backwards reminded him of something, while the situation was funny to him, those three guys were probably drowning, and despite trying to rob him, Subaru couldn't stay by and let them die.
Walking to the hole, he braced himself for what was about to happen and jumped into the pond, one of the thugs cushioned his fall, thanks to landing on his back, the he step down, his feet slightly shaky as the heel struggled with the muddy terrain but he managed to stand still.
Taking a deep breath, Subaru stretched his arms as a small warm up and then began his rescue operation, begging with the short one, he struggled a bit with him, his arms slightly shaking as he wrapped them around the thug, barely managing to get him off the ground, feeling he wouldn't be able to carry him for long, Subaru decided to throw him up, "Gah!" he shouted as he threw him like a ball.
"One out, now the rest" he added as he tried to pick up the skinny one, despite his look the apparent leader of the thugs wasn't a featherweight, he still keep trying for a few more minutes, barely managing to sit him on the mud, "This...doesn't...work..." he mumbled, one look to the one that remained submerged send a shiver down his spine.
"Change...of...plans..." he muttered, he would be able to lift them from down here but he might have a chance if he pushed them up while standing on the bridge.
Subaru climbed back on the bridge, using the skinny thug's shoulder as a stair, and then, once his heels touched landed on the bridge, and dragged him up, then turned his sight to the remaining thug, still laying face down on the river, "One left" he reminded himself as he tried to drag the thug up, but he could only lift him up so much, with only his head ending up on the bridge, while the rest of him remained submerged.
"You know I think I did more than enough" Subaru said, now with his conscience clear he could start looking for Satella!
But before he could even start, he ran into another obstacle, a breeze, an unusually cold breeze hit him as he tried to step away, he didn't understood why until he felt the soaked cloth pressing about his skin, and noticed the strands of wet hair resting on his face, partially blocking his eyesight.
Looking down just confirmed what he somehow managed to ignore until now, his dress was completely wet, this on itself was bad enough, but the cloth, that was now sticking to his skin, made him even more aware of his feminine figure, not only because the dress was practical see-through by this point, but also he could feel every inch of his being, the breeze made him feel like he was naked, making him painfully aware of how sensitive he felt in some areas, "Ahhhhhhhhh!" Subaru couldn't elaborate his thoughts, after going through so much in such a short timespan, he just couldn't take it anymore and ran away from the bridge.
