The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
The unholy hell house know as Wiffington Manor, was once the birthing place of a government agency who’s mission was to discover more effective ways of torture. To test their new methods, they needed subjects. They tried multiple methods on both humans and furries while storing the survivors in cages underneath the house. The experiments were eventually cancelled and the agency was able to go back to their previous occupations. As for the prisoners, they were left to rot. Around these jailed souls was a anthro skunk names Joshua. Along with his aquatints Lial, an otter, and Keth, a white rat, they were able to break out of the underground prison and free all the surviving prisoners. But, Joshua wasn’t going to let a perfectly good building go to waste. He told Lial and Keth his plans to make this house into simi-torturous maze, to have a bit of fun and therapy. They all agreed on the ideas (one less than the other two) and told the prisoners about the plan. The ones who wanted to go home were free to do so, but the ones who stayed were ready to have so fun.

They opened up shop about a year ago and have kinda been the laughing stalk of the town. It’s become a place where you bet your friend to go in for a joke, or you tell someone you don’t like that it’s a haunted house attraction. But, they decided to change it up this year. $500,000 prize upon completion of the maze. Who ever makes it to the heart of the house wins it all.

You could really use half a million dollars. It would take you very very far. As far away from this crummy town as you can get. Now getting that cash is all up to you.
