Chapter #6Cheer Practice by: PrinceS   You barely make it into your room, when you hear running up the stares. You turn back and see Steph running up the stairs. She has been Kylie's friend ever since you could remember, even though she was older. Since she has been around forever, she has seen you in every setting, so you weren't embarrassed as she approached you.
"Dude, we have to go. Mom is outside waiting and we are going to be late." You tell her just a second since you had to pick out clothes, "Your gonna be fine, we are just having our walkthrough- coach said PJs are fine, see" she said, pointing to her pajamas that she was wearing which were white with donuts all over them.
You point down to your diaper, letting her know that you need out of that- to which she grabbed a pull-up from your dresser and told you that you could change there.
Usually, you need help changing- since the diapers aren't the easiest thing to put on yourself properly but since you wore pull-ups to sports, that should work.
Steph picks up your gym back with your shoes in it and stuffs the pull-up inside before practically dragging you to the car.
You and Steph both sit in the back seat as you say hello to her mom and thank her for the ride to practice. You guys hit every red light and train, while riding to the school- along with a bumpy detour. You kept moving your hair, as it kept getting in your eyes. While it wasn't terribly long, for guys standards it would be considered. Usually you put product in it, which kept it still but didn't have time to do so this morning. Steph noticed and told you to turn.
You did as instructed and felt her start brushing your hair. When the brush straightened out your naturally curly hair, it went to about your shoulders. All of a sudden, you felt Steph grab the hair from the top of your head and being in a house full of girls, you knew what was coming.
"You are not putting my hair in a ponytail." you say.
"Why not, it is going in your eyes" she said, tucking your hair behind your ears for the moment.
"I am not a girl" you complain.
"Believe me, the hairstyle won't be the concern there," she said referencing your pajamas. "Plus the girls know that and its not like they haven't seen you with makeup on or in girl clothes."
You know she was right. Kyra loved it when you played with her, allowing her to give you make overs or play dressup, and Kylie loved social media. Your mom yelled at her for putting an IG post of you at a tea party with Kyra one time but that didn't prevent her from sending messages to her friends. Plus, when you were short on laundry, you would come to the occasional practice in spandex or booty shorts. All of the girls on the team knew and it wasn't even until right now that you second guessed the pink jammies and fuzzy socks- you were too preoccupied thinking about the diaper and being late.
"I guess you are right, the jammies literally say girls can do amazing things on them. The hair won't be an issue unless I can find another outfit."   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
