Sometime has passed since the event that led to the creation of the Morphs. During the initial scare from the event the company that lead the research into the morphs, the soon to be MorphCo, made a startling discovery. Despite the Morph's tremendous sexual appetite, they were unable to reproduce. The male seed was found to be too sluggish in order to fertilize the eggs and the females' eggs weren't fertile. This information had helped to calm the public to the Morphs, as they had been afraid of a baby boom that could lead to drastic overpopulation.
With the establishment of Morph City and MorphCo, the Morph's infertility was tackled and soon remedied. MorphCo soon started mass producing a pill that could temporarily solve the issue. Thery had created a pill that could allow Morph's the ability to reproduce. The pill essentially sent the Morph into a heat like state that would drive them to breed. The trial session monitored the initial sex between Morph's, the pregnancy, and subsequent birth to ensure the pill was safe. However, this led to the startling discovery that upon giving birth, the child was actually human.
After examining the children it was found that most of them carried the Morph gene. Further investigation found that children born from two Morph parents had a greater chance of carrying over the Morph gene. The children that carried the genes were examined by the company for several years in order to determine if any side effects would present themselves. In the end they found nothing of concern, the children grew up perfectly healthy with no signs of any concern. The only thing they noted was that it seemed that they were favored heavily during puberty. That was until one of the children suddenly turned into a Morph during class. Several other children were found to be turning in the days following. Further examination led them to conclude that children born with the Morph genes had the potential to change sometime during puberty, seemingly when it ends. The working theory being that the body assumed the addition of the Morph gene was to act as a secound stage of puberty. The presence of the Morph genes also didn't guarantee the child would Morph at all. Examination found that in children that those that didn't change, the gene became inert and possessed no risk of changing the individual.
In the end the pill passed through the FDA and went into mass production. Soon Morph's everywhere would be able to conceive children of their own. The only question now is where do you fit into this story?
