Option two but it was Eggman robots instead

In between plans of world conquering attempts Eggman would occasionally go up to the ARK in secret to recollect on what went right and wrong in the previous plans and beat those in mind accordingly into the next plan as well as being able to relax in a home away from home…that is when intruders aren’t around. “Blast it that twin tailed brat brought new friends and a new look for himself, robots bring me those arrogant heroes!” As the Moebians looked around the ARK they were quickly and suddenly surrounded by Eggman robots weapons raised at them ready for a fight.
