It was a normal day at the Mystery Shack, or as normal as it could be in Gravity falls. Oregon.
Dipper was alone in his and Mabel's room. Dipper was rummaging through his backpack when he pulled out a familiar-looking flashlight.
Dipper’s mind was flooded with the terrible experience he and Mabel had with it.
The preteen shuddered. "I really don't wanna go through that again," Dipper said.
He grabbed the crystal on the front of the flashlight and tried to pull it loose. Suddenly a bird flew by and hit the window. The noise startled Dipper, and he dropped the flashlight, which switched on upon impact.
The beam struck Dipper and almost instantly shrank the boy down to two inches tall. Dipper was now standing before the flashlight, which was massive compared to him.
"Ah, darn it not again!" Dipper shouted.
He walked closer to the flashlight to make sure the crystal was still in one piece. Dipper's eyes widen in fear as he saw the crystal was shattered.
"No, no, this can't be happening!" Dipper panicked. "I need to get help!"
Dipper ran towards the attic door. Thanks to his diminutive size, he could squeeze right under it. Once he was through, he ran into his first obstacle, the attic stairs. Normal this wouldn't be a problem, but
Dipper's shrunken size would make descending done the stairs a long and tedious challenge.
Dipper began his long descend down the stairs. It proved to be much more arduous than his mountain climb to reach the Multi-Bear's lair. By the time he reached the bottom, he was exhausted.
But he couldn't stop now. He needed to find help. As the tiny boy made his way to the gift shop, he pondered on whose help he should get.
"Grunkle Stan? No, no, it would be terrible if he found me like this." Dipper thought.
"Soos?" "He's got a big heart and would help me out of this mess, but he's also really clumsy." Dipper continued.
"So I guess that just leaves, Mabel and Wendy. Dipper said.
The tiny pre-teen made his way into the gift shop and saw...
