One of the things that gave the Entity's life a bit more exciting was turning the hunts into games. It would do this by hunting a target rather different from its current body. Most of the time that meant gender.

Currently the Entity was occupying a woman's body when the urge to swap had returned. So it decided to find a man to hunt...
