"Okay, Weiss, whenever I say the word 'sleep' you will return to the deep trance you're in," the Hypnotist told her. "And, as long as you are in this state, you will call me 'Master.' Do you understand?"
"Yes, Master," Weiss replied.
"Good. Now, listen carefully. When I count from one to three, you will wake up, refreshed and energized. However, whenever I say the word 'jump" you will start jumping up and down in place and will be unable to stop jumping until I tell you to stop. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Master," Weiss replied.
"Also, whenever I tap twice on any part of your body, that part of your body will be frozen in place like it's made of stone. No matter what you try, you will be unable to move it, nor will anyone else be able to move it. Only when I tap on that body part twice again will you be able to move it. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Master," Weiss answered.
"Perfect. Now, without further ado, one, two three." The Hypnotist snapped his fingers and Weiss woke up. "Welcome back," the Hypnotist told her. "How did that feel?"
"Honestly? Really good," Weiss admitted.
"That's good to hear. But no need to 'jump' for joy over it." At the Hypnotist's words, Weiss began jumping up and down.
"What the--what's going on?!" she demanded to know over the audience's laughter.
"Why don't you tell us?" the Hypnotist responded. "You seem to be jumping up and down."
"Obviously! I can't stop myself!" Weiss cried.
Ruby was rolling over in her chair with laughter. The Hypnotist let her jump for another few seconds before saying, "Okay, Weiss, you can stop jumping now." Weiss hit the ground and stumbled a bit before regaining her footing.
"Did you seriously give me a more active trigger than the others?" she demanded to know.
"Don't worry, Weiss," the Hypnotist told her, approaching her. "Now, may I see your arm?"
Weiss hesitated, but then stuck her arm out. "What are you trying to do?"
"This." The Hypnotist tapped twice on the arm. When he moved away, Weiss's eyes widened in alarm as she struggled to move it.
"I--I can't move my arm!" she cried.
"Try even harder," the Hypnotist suggested. "The harder you try, though, the more solid your arm will be." Weiss scrunched her face in effort as she tried to move her arm to no avail. The Hypnotist even put his hand on the frozen arm and pushed down as well, with the same effect. Finally, the Hypnotist tapped the arm twice, allowing Weiss to move it again.
"It's okay, Weiss," the Hypnotist told her. "The crowd's loving you. But why don't you go have a seat now?"
"Good idea." Weiss moved to sit down, but the Hypnotist suddenly tapped her leg twice. Instantly her leg froze in place, causing her to nearly fall to the ground. "Hey!" she complained. She was forced to drag her immobilized leg behind her as she made it back to her seat, staring daggers at him.
The Hypnotist chuckled slightly to himself, walking past Weiss and tapping her frozen leg twice to allow her to move it again. He finally stopped in front of the last girl he had to hypnotize: Blake.
"It's your turn," the Hypnotist told her. "Are you ready?"
