The Hypnotist walks in front of the girls, stopping in front of Yang. "How about it, my dear?" he asked her. "Yang, is it? Would you like to go next?"
Yang snorted. "Sure. But I don't think it's going to work."
"Ah. A skeptic, I see."
"Oh, I don't doubt that hypnosis is real. You proved that already with my sister. I just don't think it will work on me."
The Hypnotist smiled. "We'll see about that." He led Yang up to the front of the stage, positioning her and himself so that his back was once again to the audience, much like what he did when he hypnotized Ruby. "Now," he said, raising his fingers and beginning to circle them around Yang's face. "Just focus on my fingers and let my voice guide into a state of deep relaxation."
Yang crossed her arms over her chest. "Yeah, sorry, but I'm not feeling it. Like I told you, it's not going to work on--"
That was when the Hypnotist activated his semblance again, emitting the hypnotic energy that had entranced Ruby just a few minutes earlier. Yang's words were cut off as her eyes widened, focusing on his fingers as the circled around her face. Her eyes perfectly matched the movements while the rest of her body seemed to freeze.
"Wh--what's going on?" she breathed, her crossed arms slowly falling to her side.
"Just relax, Yang," the Hypnotist told her. "Listen to my voice and relax. You want to relax, don't you?"
"Ye--yeah," Yang stuttered, her voice slowly dropping to a relaxed whisper. "Relax..."
The hypnotist could tell that Yang was dropping fast, even faster than Ruby even. He had seen this before; the tough, confident people that believed that his power wouldn't work on them often were the people that not only dropped into a trance the fastest, but often went the deepest into hypnosis. This meant that Yang would probably give some of the more interesting reactions to the suggestions he would give during the show.
"That's right, Yang," he soothed. "Now, when I count to three, you will fall into a deep trance, fully compelled to obey any and all my suggestions. Do you understand?"
"Yes...I understand," Yang breathed, eyes unblinking as she was unable to move or resist the Hypnotist's commands. Her mouth was curling into a mindless grin even then as her mind emptied of all thought.
"Excellent. One...two...three."
*PING!*
Just as instructed, Yang fully dropped into her trance, nearly falling over before the Hypnotist caught her. He whispered into her ear instructions to remaining standing and stood her back up. "Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Yang!" he boomed, standing aside to let the audience see her. Yang stood there, slumped forward slightly, wearing the same mindless smile that Ruby had on when she had been hypnotized. The audience burst into applause as Ruby snickered at seeing the state her sister was in.
"Was that what I looked like?" she asked.
"Pretty much," Weiss confirmed.
"And now," the Hypnotist said, "What shall I do to my latest volunteer here?"
