Just as his key slipped into a lock, his phone rang. Tyler pulled out his phone and groaned as he saw his agent's number. "What's up Doug?" He said, a patently fake cheer in his voice. "Oh, don't be like that Tyler. You make it seem like you don't like me."
"You're my agent who normally only calls when there's a production thing going on and I just started my time off, soooo.... You see why I'm not exactly thrilled with you calling now, right?"
Doug sighed."Yeah, yeah. Happens every time."
"What did you want Doug?" Tyler pushed closed the door behind himself, hard enough to make sure Doug could hear it through the phone. "Okay, okay. There's a new role coming up for a sports movie, baseball or football or something like that. I wasn't really paying attention. They were asking for you specifically. Though I suspect they're doing one of those films with every big name they can get."
Tyler plopped himself onto the couch and turned on the TV. "So who else is being asked?" "Ummmm..... Let's see, there's Taylor Lautner, Chris Pratt, Henry Cavill, Richard Madden, and several others."
He sighed. "And just when would they want to audition me?" "Probably within the next week. I already sent asked them to send someone over with the script who has accepted. Don't ask me who. I didn't bother asking that. I actually wouldn't be surprised in they show up at your place any minute now."
As if it were timed, the doorbell rang. Tyler inhaled deeply. "I'll at least look over the script but I'm not making ANY promises for more than that Doug. I'm supposed to be done at least for three months, remember? And I'd really like to actually take that time off, okay?" "Of course Tyler. I'd never...
