Seeing how long you take to judge each of the candidates, seeing if you have a type. Even though you're 'hiring' for the position of wife, you treat it unemotionally. The security team have already vetted the candidates for obvious surprises. Those already in serious relationships, are naturally out of contention. Your company is multi-national with thousands of employees. All should be flattered to receive an invite to enjoy a brief voyage on the boss' yacht.
You do want arm-candy you can flaunt, and use to distract your rivals and allies in any potential negotiations. Thumbing through the pile, you have a long morning ahead of you. There must be almost a hundred candidates in the running.
You need to whittle that down to a more managable number. With your yacht setting the ultimate upper limit. You can manage thirty at the most. You want to interact with all of them. You've already assigned a discrete security team to review the camera footage for their reactions when you're in the rooms, and when they're left alone.
It should be a fun task, but if a few drop out at the final stage, you should manage with fewer candidates. You scoff at the idea of them not finding you attractive. You're independently wealth, quite fit, and able to support them in comfort and style.
While their looks factor high, you don't want a bimbo. Speaking, French, Spanish, and a smattering of Japanese on top of your English, you want someone who won't embarass you with an inane observation. You select your work to get rid of half the pile, leaving the HR team to decide which of those will further whittled away, to get you down to thirty.
That way, you still have an element of surprise. Leaving this fun job aside, you return to the business side of things, eager for the cruise in a weeks' time. It'll take that long to free up any work complications, and bring them from around the world to the hotel marina in preparation.
