Your name is Tyler Whitmore. You are a 28 year old marketing executive at a large advertising company. You are known for being sharp, aggressive and a bit of a shark. You don’t hesitate to sell out others if it means your success. One day you are at your desk when a voice calls out to you.
“Care to explain yourself?”
You looked up from your desk as you saw it was Louis standing in front of you with folders that he had just dumped on your desk.
“Pardon me?” He replied back in a snarky and sarcastic tone.
Louis was a marketing executive like you. Both of you were hired around the same time but you always outshined him. Your ideas were always better received by your bosses and you were actually up for a promotion soon.
“Don’t give me that shit!” Look at these!” Louis said opening the folders.
“These look familiar? They are all your ad ideas over the last year. Problem is these are yours...these are all created and owned by others...All you did was change a couple things and slap your name on it. You have been stealing idea from interns and anyone lower than you!” Louis said in an accusatory tone.
“Hey...I never stole anything. I told those people I would use their ideas and give them credit.” You replied in a smug tone.
“I spoke to these people they haven’t received any sort of compensation for these ideas!” Louis said.
“Hey I mentioned their names in the pitch meetings. It’s not my fault the bosses don’t reach out to them.” You said with a laugh.
“You are a real Bastard! You stole these ideas and used them to push your way to the top.” Louis said.
“What of it? I had the drive to make something here!” You said in defense.
“You are so going down for this...Wait till the bosses hear about this. I’ve got all the proof I need to excuse your lies.” Louis said ready to storm out.
You couldn’t believe it...Everything you had worked for was about to disappear! There had to be a way to save this...
“Wait...Louis...Maybe there is a way I can convince you not to share this?” You said hinting at your checkbook.
“You are gonna try bribe me? Please...I’m not gonna sell out for cash like that.” Louis said.
“What else would you like?” You asked.
Louis stopped for a moment and paused as he smiled.
“You know...I’ve been looking for a new secretary.” He said with a grin.
“Sure we can find you one. That’s fine with me.” You said in a relieved tone.
“Oh no...I had something else in mind.” Louis said with a devilish smile.
