Kurenai saw everything that Hinata did to Naruto and she was extremely disappointed in her former Genin she expected better from Hinata especially after what her clan put her through when she was younger but what they did to her seemed like nothing compared to what she put Naruto through.

She saw her enter the hospital with Naruto and followed after them and when she saw Hinata throw Naruto to the floor and heard what she said and was not impressed so when Hinata left Kurenai entered the Nursery area Naruto was thrown in and saw he was crying.
