Ruby: So it’s really you?! Crescent Rose, my weapon?! You look amazing!
Crescent Rose: Well it’s all thanks to you. You are the one who built me after all.
Ruby: This is so great…and a little weird.
Crescent Rose: Yeah, I never thought I’d be able to talk to you like this.
Ruby: So, What’s it like being a weapon? I mean, what kind of memories do you have sense I built you?
Crescent Rose: Well, I don’t really have any memories exactly. I don’t really recall any specific times or places, their more like feelings.
Ruby: Like what?
Crescent Rose: The excitement of being wielded in a fight, along with the taste of Grimm, Umm!
Ruby: You can taste Grimm?
Crescent Rose: Oh yes! Beowulf’s are my favorite, Nevermore’s are a close second.
Ruby: Ok, hehe.
Crescent Rose: So, how exactly am I Human now?
Ruby: Well you see…
Ruby explained how she had come into possession of the Book and what she knew about it so far. Then she showed Crescent Rose the app and how she had turned her human.
Meanwhile in her own head, Ruby was trying to figure out some things when it came to her now, human weapon. She didn’t have any clear memories of things, so she couldn’t have been alive as a scythe. But yet she has a familiarity with being used as a weapon. Also knowing not only who Ruby is (the one that built her) but knowing her on a personal level. It felt like they had been best friends for years. Ruby thought back to when she was designing her weapon at Signal with her Uncle Qrow, something he said to her was coming back.
“Listen Kiddo, your weapon is a tool, that’s true, but they’re more then that. They are an extension of your self, your fighting spirit brought out into the world. A partner that will always be by your side. That’s why we take such great care in crafting them, it’s why we give them names.”
Is that what the Book & App latched onto when making Crescent Rose Human? Ruby wasn’t sure, I’ll she knew was she was excited about having her weapon as her friend.
Crescent Rose: This is amazing Ruby! What else have you done?
Ruby: Not much actually, I made the app and experimented on Weiss Pen. Then I used the app on you.
Crescent Rose: I see. So, what are you going to do next?
Ruby: Well, We can keep playing around with the app. But I still have the book if you have any ideas.
