Corrin sat in the dining hall with all the other swordfighters, he didn’t really have anyone else to fit in with. Marth was trying to eat off of his sword, or something, when Corrin saw Mewtwo carrying 8 food trays for himself, Pichu, Pikachu, Pirhana Plant, both Ice Climbers, Ivysaur, and Squirtle. “He does that every day,” Corrin heard as he saw Lucina whispering to Link. “It’s draining him of his psychic energy, have you seen him fighting lately?” She added, clearly worried. Lucina was right. Mewtwo looked horrible, most of his psychic based attacks were much smaller and weaker, he wasn’t jumping as high, he was all around a mess. Corrin woke up a few hours later, with Charizard and Ridley both next to him, but Charizard’s attention was split between his fellow dragon and the other Pokémon. “He threw you against the wall,” Ridley said, “But your dragon armor kicked in right before you hit the wall. He had literally zero psychic energy left, he couldn’t even move properly.” It was rare to hear Ridley speak, other than Samus he didn’t talk to anyone, but he still had a charm to him. Corrin sat up, feeling a little dizzy but otherwise alright, when he got up and looked at Mewtwo’a bedside. A lot of complicated machinery he didn’t understand, all he had was a heart rate monitor, while Mewtwo’s has as many things fit into a screen as possible. He couldn’t make sense of it, but Ridley could. Or at least he tried. He could explain some of the scientific stuff, but the psychic stuff was completely foreign to him. They both watched as...
