If there was one thing saving those boys today it was Flayn's secret talent of incredible observation. Sure enough, as Felix's cookie was heading to Annette's mouth, Flayn noticed something quite peculiar. One of the chips on her cookie had a little spot of orange to it. While the other women were trying to stop Annette from eating from Edelgard's cookie, Flayn became slowly filled with dread as she leaned in for a very close look at the orange spot, finally realizing that the orange spot was actually hair from, of all people, Sylvain!
Naturally, Flayn yelped, causing the boys on the other cookies to instinctively try to cover their ears with varying degrees of success. But this also distracted the other girls from stopping Annette who, as quickly she could, plopped the cookie (which happened to have Felix on it) into her mouth. Flayn, who just witnessed Annette possibly killing one of their friends bolted into action, quickly placing Sylain's cookie on the table tackling Annette to the ground, stunning everyone at the table (and the boys on the table as well) for her out-of-character moment. Thankfully this also kept Annette from swallowing her cookie, who then found herself face down on the floor thanks to the surprisingly strong efforts from Flayn who then put her hand in front of Annette's mouth and calmly said "There's a person in your cookie, please spit it out." Now usually, Annette would of thought the person who would say such a thing would be crazy, but alas, this coming from Flayn who would never say it if she didn't mean it, so naturally she spat out the cookie (and Felix).
Two minutes later, after much explaining from Flayn, and actually finding the the boys in there cookies and promptly got them out of their sticky prisons and heading straight to Dimitri's dorm, the students of the Blue Lions were now staring all deep in thought, all thinking the same thing: How are we going to fix this? From the boys' perspectives, they just had the fright of their lives, all of them no doubt traumatized, Felix especially, judging by when Dimitri, out of pure relief to see his old friend survive such an experience, went to hug Felix, Felix didn't even struggle from the hug, only saying "I'm sorry for wishing this upon you." Now from the girls' perspectives, they also had the fright of their lives, obviously from the knowledge that they almost killed their fellow students in total obliviousness. Which now leads to what could only be described as dead silence from all involved. Unknowingly, their answer would come sooner then expected when all the boys felt dizzy all of a sudden and to the shock of the girls, they started to grow...
Meanwhile,
Edelgard was not happy. "Hubert what do you mean it's only temporary?! They're not even at the table anymore, what happens if the spell ends before I can find them?"
Hubert, of course was all kinds of nervous, "My lady, please calm down, it may be termporary, but there's still a large chance that they'll grow only a little and not to their original height!"
So back to the boys, how much do they grow back?
