Jake smiled, "You don't need choices, you just need to make the right one, quality over quantity. The way I see it, your buddy is a good guy, and you're a little shallow, I have a way to give him what he wants, and to make you willing to see what you can get already."
"And what is that?"
Jake poured me another drink and handled it to me. "This is on the house," he said.
I hesitated. "What is it?"
"Its not going to kill you or knock you out," he said. I figured why not, and downed it fairly quickly. "Come back here with me," he said. I followed him without hesitation, though part of me wondered why.
"Why am I back here?" I asked when we ended up in the back office.
"Like I said, you already have a great choice," he said.
"Dude, I'm not interested in you," I said. I'm not.."
"Not me, you idiot, your friend, you two could make a nice couple."
