I had hit it with too much top spin and the cue ball went right in after it, I lost, she had won. Tom applauded, at first I didn’t know why, then I remembered we were guaranteed with the app, so he must of thought that he would be getting lucky after losing the game. I put the cue stick up and walked over to Erin.
“Good game,” I said as I held out my hand. “You won.”
“Sometimes the breaks don’t turn out the way you wanted. But I think you’ll be okay, either way. Come, I will buy this round, we’ll take a seat and get started. She motioned to the bartender and we walked over to a table near the back.
