This choice: A woman appears before them • Go Back...Chapter #3A woman appears before them. by: Mr. George   Neither of the boys saw the woman appear. So focused on their whispered conversation. But she stood just in front of them, clearly expecting something.
Eric and Kyle exchanged another look. Silently asking "Is this it? Is that her?" The decision was reached quickly, she wasn't some magical woman they'd summoned. She just looked nice, not drop-dead gorgeous, or wanton.
As they went to move past her, assuming it was just their distraction that allowed her to surprise them. She reached out a hand, resting in on a shoulder of each of them. The grip was tight, but her expression was firm.
"You stole that book." she said, simply. Not a question, not an accusation, just stating a fact.
"Nuh-uh." Eric denied, sounding weak and unconvincing even to himself.
Kyle kept quiet, nervously waiting to find out what she did know. What he could deny, if he could throw Eric under the bus.
"It's a spell book." That same tone keeping Kyle quiet. While Kyle fought this as an opening.
"Magic isn't real, if you believe that... or think we're thieves, you're cuckoo."
Still he didn't try to break free of her compelling gaze.
"You cast a spell, so you should get the benefit of it." This time, a hint of a smirk played at the corner of her mouth. She was enjoying this.
Eric and Kyle twitched, as it felt like she'd given them a nerve pinch. In that same moment, she vanished. Eric looked to Kyle, and Kyle to Eric. Neither recognising the other, and for very obvious reasons.
Both had transformed into incredibly busty women.
"You're your own obvious fantasy, girls..." an ethereal voice seemed to call from nowhere. "Enjoy it, Erica, Kylie..." The voice faded, and both the new women knew it was never coming back. Even as it vanished, the sneering amusement still coloured her tone.
